Hello Everyone.

Has anyone heard of "THE BLACK MAX" hot high pressure washer from Wholesale Parts and Supplies in Ellendale, Tenn?

6 gpm, 3500 psi, 20 hp B+S emgine, 400,000 BTU Oil fired Burner, 2250 Watt Generator

$3899.00

If you know anything, please post. It is obviously an off brand. Should I run away or take a risk? Great gpm and psi for flatwork, but will it be a money pit of repairs and an overall headache?

Thanks Again

Scott

if i were you and were thinking about that wash unit i would check out www.mobileclean.com
21 hp 5.5gpm 12 volt burner 3000 psi $3,850
20 hp 6gpm 120gen 3500psi $4165.00
either way you would buy them both in tenn
and with the LARGO you will have a factory support team to help you. Well worth the extra $265.00 plus you can get part's overnighted.
Dont let the pics on the sight fool you they make laydown burners also if you want.
They have allways given me good service and build a quality unit.
Add $200 more and they will upgrade the 20hp to a 24hp.
That i think is well worth it.
i also like the honda over the brigg's but that's your choice.

Check Delco first

Their machines are custom built, support second to none,
and their warranty and length of time in business is
hard to beat... I haven't heard 1 complaint about them..

Best unit for the money

I must disagree with both of you...
Delco-as a whole sells low quality at high prices, my opinion.
MobileClean (Largo) I was going to buy one, here is what happened. Talked back and forth with a rep for two or three days about which unit I wanted. I told them the unit I wanted and said all I need now is the shipping and I will give my c.c. number to have it shipped. Well, they took over two weeks to get me the shipping info. and guess what, got a better machine for less money in that two week period, and told them so. That leaves a bad tasted in my mouth about them. AND THEN...If you look on ebay, they must not be doing that good because they are trying to sell their units on ebay now. Messing around, I emailed them through ebay and asked the reserve price. Guess what, they told me a higher reserve than the price on their web site. I emailed them back and asked why their web site said a lower price then their reserve? He said he made a mistake in the quote. I said wow, twice someone has made a mistake with me in your company, guess who's machine I will NEVER buy? They may make good machines but now it is principal.

sounds like you got a bad run around. I did'nt.
As for the ebay thing that is just a cheap way to hunt for customers.
Greg from geckguide sell's equipment on ebay.
RamTeq sell's equipment on ebay.
Largo sell's equipment on ebay.
It is advertising. Not everyone can be on the top 10 at google.com
it's just another way to get people interested in your product.
What machine did you find that was better and cheaper?
I was sure it could'nt be done.
Shipping should have been around $500, no tax.
When i order part's they are right on the money.
Part's as in tips,filters,o rings,ect...
It's too bad you got the run around, i really like the wash unit's.
You can bet im going to enquire about this.
I was going to ask them to be a sponser on the PWNA bbs.

Mike 10+ years avearge

Mike for what it is worth, no one could beat Delco's price
I got 5 Bids, closest was $2500 more 35%. ? also on average
Delcos machines will run over 10 years full time, Im not sure
how many other companies out there can say that ?

THX

Ron, shipping was only about 200, but it was too late. I picked up an Alkota for 2 g's.

rfitz, I don't know alot about their machines, just their parts and accesories, that is what I meant by low quality and high price, like i said, just my opinion.

Delco's machines are affordable. They are sometimes higher priced on parts, but I would never say low quality. Not like I've seen elsewhere.

Service is always top notch also.

RFITZ,
Where did you come up with the average life of a Delco machine being 10+ years with full time use????

That is an interesting claim that I have never heard any manufacture make!

Consevatively full time would be a minimum of 40 hours a week.

x 12 months=2,080 hours a year x 10 years=

20,800 hours of use!

If anyone is getting close to this, please let me know. Looking at
purchasing a skid unit but am undecided on brand.

Talked with...

Hi, after talking with alot of people that have either,
sold them, manufactured them, USED THEM, bought used ones,
and people that have worked on them, if maintained as recommended
you should get 10 years, now not saying parts wont be replaced
but for the money they put together the best machines in the industry..

Hope this helps

RFITZ,
Thanks for the info.

I no one pwer that has five of their units. The only thing he has had problems with was the battery wiring on the first 12 v. unit he bought.

He now replaces the battery wiring with a heavier gauge immediatly after purchasing. Also uses only standard automotive batteries.

Also said the 16 hp Briggs hard to start at times. Kind of drags. He has traced it to the low oil sensor. Disconnects and manualy checks oil! No more problems. Heard of others installing a momentary off switch on low shut down for start ups.

Again thanks for the info.
