Things That Make You Go Hmmm

I haven't been around long enough to figure out where all the negative bashing comes from...and why. But I do know that a couple of Ron-involved NCE events has put my young business on the right path and has me excited about 2010! I have been provided excellent advice from Ron and others on several occasions, met several great contacts at the NCE events to network and partner with, continue to learn from PWI each week, and won a few cool prizes. Thank you, Ron!

Most Distributors I have met, treat the contractor like they're idiots. I have seen this time and time again.

Once a Distributor finds out that you are knowledgeable about equipment, chemicals or washing in general they go on the defensive. This has happened to me more than I care to remember.

You see now the BS factor has been taken away.
 
I can promiss that i will not ever purchase a H&M rig. Not because I feel they are not worth what they are asking for them but I have no need for a rig like he builds. If I wanted a gooseneck with reclaim/recycle capabilities I would prefer to assemble everything to arrange everything as I want it to be

yeah I stopped in Louisana at a place and had to pick up something, the guy acted like I was some hack and didnt know anything at first, then he realized I was for real when I walked away and he followed me outside and saw my rig. Then he wanted to play nice and all but begged me to come back in.

I had a o ring leaking on the pump head above the valve, he said I needed to replace the pump for 799 + labor :wave2:, I stopped at a pipe warehouse and got the o ring for less than a quater, got out the 30mm socket and rachet and it was fixed in less than 30 seconds :clapping:

Russ, you reminded me of a incident 15 or so years ago. Any one from around Maybane Noth Caroline ? I broke down there once, There is a NAPA store right off the highway, GREAT Folks there. I was from New Jersey and needed about 140.00 worth of stuff. I did not have enough cash on me, the nearest mac machine was miles away and this store did not take credit cards. BUT he took a company check from me. He said because I was in a uniform and my truck was letterd purty, I just had to be real. Never did thank that guy. Done with my hijack.

I will tell you what, I had a contract to deliver some mixing vessels to Atlanta and my air brake compressor mounting bracket broke, Cast Aluminum. New belts, couple of chain binders, some flat stock, I made it there. I don't remember if I ever sent him a thank you letter or not, ya know, I have to look him up now with this internet thing.

I was in one place, and a guy came to pick up his machine (cold water unit) they explained to him that they finally found out the problem. The unloader was bad and had to be replaced. Must have been a special unloader, total bill.......$500.00!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron has been a good friend.

I've spent days with him and listened to his conversations with vendors, contractors, haters. This whole thing is amazing to me. It sounds like a bunch of little girls sitting around:

One exclaims "I HATE Paris Hilton!"

"You've never MET Paris Hilton." says the other.

"Oh yeah? If I met her I wouldn't like her, nobody likes her!" she retorts.


However.....we are now looking for clues as to the names of those who ruined a business deal between Ron and Dr. Durbyl and Mr. Hyde.

I found one clue.

Where will it lead? Tom posted his new "expo" at another board and is asked.....if he doing it "as an independent show or "teamed" up with anyone".

What does that mean?

Why would anyone care?

I'm just saying. I'm just continuing the bashing....... :winknudge::winknudge:

 
That would be interesting to see that whole page or the whole thread, Hmmmmmmm

I think that we might have some good clues there.

Same thing. He spent a little time creating a little buzz. That's just what he does. I know about some things he's working on that are a year away. He PM's or texts me -I might mention it to others. By the time the full announcement comes out half the people already know about it. IT's BUZZ MARKETING. Maybe you should try it Tom. It works better than the F U marketing you tried last week.

How about you look for some disgruntled members of the group that you listened too when they gave you the false information about Ron. They are easy to find.


You'll have three guys or maybe even thirty guys coming to learn how to clean. Then they will leave and won't buy anything from you just like happened in Orlando. The difference being you won't have Ron there to promote your sales and build up excitement that leads to purchases.

I have a feeling you are going to be back in the shadows once you realize what an opportunity you blew.

You're right Michael, I didn't present it as if it was a secret and that was the only poster on the thread that appeared to determine the value of an event based on who was putting it on.

Chris, a lot of people posted in that thread, I pulled out the only goofy one.
