Traveling Hood Cleaner Survey(Just curious)

Survey, Suppose you are a new and or not sure you have a desire to get into Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, what would it be worth for someone to bring the biz to you and show you the ropes and even set up some accounts? What would it be worth? Would you be interested?

As I recall there is some guy in the Ozarks or somewhere, (TN) that will set you up for $16,000. That includes on the job training, a trailer full of equipment, enough accounts to make you a millionaire in two - three weeks and a certificate.
Whats it worth? good question.
Would I be interested? Not even for $2000.

Sorry, Grant thats to much money, that would put me in a high tax bracket. thanks anyhow. Mikey:)

Higher tax bracket yes, but with all that money falling out of your pockets cuz of only working a one man crew and only working 12 hours a week, you could spend some time finding tax shelters and offshore accounts, or like Matt said buy some Budwieser and recycle (no stock market)

Ya, thats some good Ideas, but mabe I can donate some overflow to some needy one man hood cleaner.

Make sure he gives you a receipt!

What are you proposing. Going to somewhere USA and finding jobs out of the blue, cleaning them, just so someone could see if they wan't to get into the business. So yoi bring your own equipment?

MIKEYS SUCCESS

Mikey I like your enthusiasm, and your willingness to help other
people.I think it will take you far in life .If you ever notice
"real" sucessful people are always upbeat and willing to
help others, like Ron Musgrave, and you can see the level
of success he has achieved in this business.I have helped
people in many types of businesses and in life in general
and whenever I needed it,it came back to me tenfold.I avoid
sarcastic and negative people like the plague!Always listen
to constructive criticism, but don't let it get you down, just
pull from it what you can use.I check this board often, and
have always wanted to start a pressurewashing business
and actually bought a company out in NY.I have a cubevan
two hot skid 4000psi gas/diesel units(ALL AMERICAN PREMIERand
a NORTHEAST)water tanks,hoses,hose reels,about ten different
wands etc. but have been too busy with other businesses to
get around to get it started, but I like watching guys like yourself
going at it fullsteam and being enthusiastic.I have many contacts
in the restaurant and trucking industries ,and when I finally
get around to starting,I know I will be busy ,and I might just take you up on your proposition.Sorry about the long post, just wanted to throw my two cents out there.
GOOD LUCK!!
.

:D

Thanks Jim, I will never forget that. I feel great and know some day that I will look back and see all the things you and everyone else has contributed to my success(Good or Bad). Take care, one day I hope to meet all of you personaly. MIkey

Jim,
I will be the first to admit my sarcasm but I'm not a negative person...I just like to have fun, So dont hate me.

Mikey,

Sounds like you have everything under control. How much liability insurance coverage do you have on your business? Since you are out in the rural areas - do the insurance companies cut you a break? Out here they eat us alive and charge us nearly $3000.00 per year. How's it where you are?

Dean

Cheap! 1mil + Eq+Van+ect.=$160.00 mo. Its thru a very Known Company:) I spend more on lunch for myself each month than that.

Mikey,

Casper sounds so good: no personal income tax, corporate nor cap gains tax, low health and insurance benefit costs. It's paradise for the small business.

The silence you hear is everyone packing for the great move to Wyoming! Nighttime lows in the 50s this week and 90s in the daytime. Why am I here in Indy?

Sounds awesome!

I did not mean any particular person, when I replied to
Mikey.I was just trying to give a little advice, that was learned
the hard way.I too have been known to give a few stinging
analogys when I see somebody heading in a dangerous
direction.I can't stress enough about staying positive
in life and brushing off the official members of the negative
piss and moan, misery loves company club, that seems to grow by leaps and bounds daily.I thought it was refreshing to hear
somebody so positive and helpful, that I wanted to give him some words of encouragement, which we all need to get us through sometimes.I am sorry if you thought I was talking
about you,I was talking in general.GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU,AND I TOO ,HOPE TO MEET ALL OF YOU SOMEDAY !!

TAKE CARE
JIM
(p.s.your welcome!!MIKEY!!)
