Would someone try to explain what is so sportsman about two guys fighting?
Hate me for saying this but I feel boxing should be outlawed, it is no different then two people who have a disagreement duffing it out except they get arrested for it.
Never been into contact sports, competitive sports yes, swimming, track, mud bogs, racing, sking etc.
Hey not all guys dig football, basketball, baseball etc.
Sure I watch some of the games, playoffs mostly.
Now which guy will win, the one still standing.

Hey Jon,
Agree with you about the violence, but from a different perspective. Most of the time the street fights are a real laugher - mostly shouting and such and they quit like women when one gets hurt, assuming they havn't reached their 2 minute exhaustion limit. I have seen many of these little tussles. In boxing, on the other hand, you stay for the duration regardless of injury or fatigue. You can take tremendous punishment from a trained fighter who wants to really hurt you. I had a number of those too both as an amateur and a pro - many, many years ago. I never even saw a football or hockey game until nearly 40 years old, but I think both are more grueling and injury-prone than boxing. My son was a pro motocrosser - much more dangerous than any of these. Maybe it would be well to outlaw all of these along with basketball and baseball, after all one could feasibly get injured in these - I mean one could get excited and choke on a hotdog or something. Come to think of it even tennis has its hazards - better include tennis just to be sure.

I knew it would be taken out of context, ok outlaw bedroom sex too as if your not with your other half and have a heart attack your in deep trouble.
I do agree about trained fighters, I am not unknowledgable about the sport, just have never seen what it is that excites people to pay the bucks they do to see it.
As for Hockey, used to go all the time in Los Angeles, got free tickets but that way before some of your young rascals were born!
Now take my wife, she loves sports more then I do, not boxing but all those team sports yes indeed.
Ok I am not a golfer, cannot understand why someone would wait around for an hour or more to hit the ball then walk to the next hole, wait another hour and WACK it again, over and over for 18 holes. Now don't tee off at me on GOLF, my two neighbors do it enough.

The winner will be...whoever is hungrier and I don't mean by biting!!
I love Boxing and most other sports. Bring on the Gladiators and may the best man win. I plan on watching this fight and hopefully it goes more then a couple of rounds and nobody gets a body part bitten off.

The fight is being held within a 30 Min drive from my house. Man all the media coverage around here is getting on my nerves. They say it will bring in billions of dollars for the community. One guy here was on the news said he was renting out a town house near downtown for $7000.00 a night limo included. Its all about the money and thats it which is fine with me I am about money to but I wont see any of those billions of dollars.

The Flinstones were cool as were the Jetsons,Speed Racer and of course my favorite Gigantor. Today the Simpsons and Sponge Bob rules(According to me and my 2 daughters).
Hey Jon here's two more shows that go way back in time which I loved as a kid and they use to come on Sunday mornings They are "The Three Stooges" and "The Bowery Boys" which was probably made before you were even born....Now thats OLD lol
