I have been called by a man that owns a Handy Andy type company.
I have subnitted bids to this guy before but have never gotten any work from him,I dont know if he is using me to get prices or as a second bid on work he wants to do himself.
Ther is another guy that calls me from time to time that owns a landscape company and I have almost the same situation with him except I did land one job that he gave me the lead on but I think it was because the homeowner was home when I bid it and just gave him the quote directly.
I always appreciate lead from others and I also give them out when I'm swamped but it seems like my close ratio should be higher.
Has anybody else dealt with people like this and how many times do you quote for them before you stop?
