Water Tank Hook Ups

I moved my water tank on my trailer and now it's not working ..
My new whitco has a tank on it with the hose coming out the bottom and in to the pump .. so I moved my tank and put a T where the hose goes into the pump and installed the valve.. Check this out the water not only goes to the pump from the water tank but also goes uphill and fills the tank on my whitco unit ( uphill ) freaky. So I guess I need another valve.. or just put it back like it was. valve for water tank and valve for tank from whitco all T eed into the pump.. Anybody want to send a pic of how there tank is hooked up ... because I,m trying to make my new unit look neat since it's new.. and not have hoses and crap running everywhere.

If you have a small float tank on your machine, it is there as a buffer for a pressure feed system. If you try and run your main tank to the float tank, then it will not work, since it needs a pressure feed.
You need ball valves to redirect the water where you want it to go.
