Water Useage

Alrighty Everyone, Newbie questions...
So as far as the water goes, most tanks we are looking at are 500+ is that overkill? or sufficient? Also I have been trying to figure out especially when forming pricing for bigger jobs, do you use source water and discount the bill or do you keep the price as if you were to use your own water?
And chemicals are they needed for most jobs or does it just vary job to job? Thanks...

Tank size will depend on jobs, water availability and how fast you want to get it done. Showing up with your own water makes the job faster and when quality of water is important (fleets) you can control it better. We use a 1500 gallon tank for our water bur 500 is usually adequate for most jobs. Just remember you need a truck big enough to haul it around.

Chemicals are not always needed but will make almost every job go faster and turn out better.
