Also thanks to American Fire For the Help!!!

We were putting out 4gpm.. and every once and a while we had to stop and unhook the vac and suck up the extra water... It did not do too well around edges and corners.. But we managed to do the floor with no drains in about an hour less time than usual and the floor with drains we did in about 30 minutes, where it used to take 2 hours

You are losing too much water. You need a more efficient vacuum, but it will cost you at least $500 for one that has a 100% duty cycle. Home Depot and sears vacs will burn up.

We looked at a Mytee unit today .. it's a 12 inch surfacer..got the pump , heater , vac and all.. Its a little over 2000.00.. Might do for the hospitol floors.. Also We got a 55 gallon drum today from Waring Oil.. going to buy the Shop Vac head ... Here.http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/it... Vacuum Head, For Mounting On 55 Gallon Drum .. Then probably build our own double walled surface vac... Time to bust out the mig and wire..

John, (I understand the need to experiment, we have 7 surface cleaners) BUT wouldn’t you have already benefited from the machines that are already done?

Well probably... But we only have (2) Floor cleaning accounts .. and I really want to know if we are going to go in this direction.. We already have over 115 fire equipment accounts, 136 hood cleaning accounts and 22 concrete cleaning accounts.. I think my biggest problem right now is trying to determine whether or not I am going to be doing alot of tile floor cleaning.. I am planning on testing the market in My area to see what kind of customers I can get..
