whats Oxalic Acid do on Vinyl home???

You will be ok using Oxalic, sometimes you will have to mix it stronger, depending on the stains being removed on House Wash jobs.

There are many kinds of chemicals that are safe for vinyl houses for house washing.

Sometimes one chemical will not do the job in removing stains for house washing but once you learn about many good chemicals, you will know all the time what chemicals for house washing will do what job and what will be needed.

Good luck on the house washing and restoration, remember to charge accordingly for the specialty chemicals for specialty stain removal.

Customer has rusty area on side of home where a hose & spicket leak its white vinyl. just curious what a little oxalic would or could do the siding??

It won't hurt the siding. We use it all the time....mostly where chimney caps have rusted and stained down the side of the chimney but also screws & nails and well water. I have also used a light HCL mix.

Ox on vinyl is fine to use. If your still unsure after reading all the posts and want to use something just a little less aggressive you can also use Rust Aide which can be found at any local box store. Takes a bit longer but it works too.

Mix it strong in a bucket, add some soap and brush the surface. I find it more effective and efficient to use a brush than spraying it. Repeat the process a few times. If it's old stain sometimes it take more than an hour for the Ox to remove it. Rinse it down afterwards and rinse the plants/grass if there is any..

Those above posts are all correct. I use it on one of my condo developments I take care of. There is always irragation rust on the lower parts of the vinyl but the acid pulls it off. Got to let it dwell longer than the bleach mix and keep the grass covered. It burns the grass quickly.
