Mike the BMP has things in it that contractors would not ever want to surrender to out of the Gate. Second in Charlotte after they read these if anyone can recall they wanted to reclaim House washing. They stopped it, it wasn't Robert Efforts it was the coalition of people that gathered. Thank goodness for the UAMCC & PWNA , Carlos efforts here despite my opinions at the time along with Celeste where instrumental in Stopping that.
Mike as a leader in the industry of and National Association your primary responsibility is to protect the welfare of the members. Your an educated Man, I don't have to tell you that simple small things in this BMP and the Slides Robert uses are more likely to tip Engineers with these Citys off to harsh and more restrictive practice.
Its not that we do not need BMP's, we need the right BMP.
Each and every Week we propose plans with our proposals to win bidding. We start with evaluation of the job and from there we form a Plan for water control.
You may think this possibly has nothing to do with your industry or that containment for Grease is easy. This is going to affect us all in Major ways. We all know this and we do not need to start off even close to this.
All the verb-age pollution and talking about Polluting is not correct. Its talked about like that because The person who wrote these sales PDF for the city Sells equipment.
If the BMP was drastically modified and the Chair persons materials to the city where supervised and represented by a committee that was actually involved this would be a better solution.
Houston was intro to these Same BMP's, now Robert thinks Houston is also ridiculous along with Mike Hinderliter. Of course last month there was no problems. Maybe I'm still not sure how your representation is looking at Houston.
There was no concern for Houston last month, now he wants your endorsement. Will this change next month?
My concern is more for the representation, interpretation of these is everything.
Thanks for all of your input. I would invite every critic to read the BMP and then tell me where the fault is. The UAMCC's past past administration was instrumental in helping write and develop this document.
Please comment constructively, but please refrain from personal attacks.
Like it or not the world and the industry is changing.
