Looking at an ACE truckmount system. They are manufactured locally here in Las Vegas.
Keep in mind I already have a Landa unit and Water Jet mounted on my truck for quick jobs and this would just be an add-on for bigger jobs and jobs that require reclaim.
It is a Hot water (only up to 120 degrees unless I pay 2k more for a diesel burner) pressure washer with 3000 psi, 4gpm and 310 CFM vacuum blower, 18 hp vanguard. It also has a 150 gallon reclamation tank with automatic pumpout. All this is in a 6x10 enclosed trailer. Included also is an indoor surface cleaner that retails for $1000.00. The owner has receipts showing she paid 23k for the whole thing less than a year ago and it has 114 hours on it. She wants $10k. She claims she doesn't want to work at night anymore.
This is a consignment sale.
The ACE guy is telling me that this is used for reclamation around the valley in this way:
He provides a retrofitted semicircle squeegee on a pivot that follows behind the steel eagle 24 that I have already bought. He also fits the steel eagle with a skirt that directs water to the back. Vacuum hooks up to the squeegee.
He claims that this is how indoor units have been for years and adding suction to the top is trying to reinvent the wheel.
He says that the filtration system in the 150 gallon reclaim tank is sufficient for the city and the filtered water can be dumped into the sewer ONSITE at, for example, a gas station. He claims that this is the reason they are not sold with transport tanks because they are expected to be dumped onsite.
I asked him about vacuboom and he says he has one that he will give me for what he paid for it because it isn't nearly as effective as what he is proposing and he will never sell a vacuboom again becuase of complaints.
What do you guys think of this . Could I go after some of the reclaim business like Costco gas areas and Walmart with this?
Here is the link for that exact truckmount:
