X-Jet to the rescue!!!

Today I was trying to clean a pool enclosure, and I had to use 250 feet of hose to get to it. With the combination of longer hose and it was raining out, I couldn't get my usual mix to work. I was about to call it quits and go back to finish it tomorrow, when I decided to give my xjet(M5) a try.

OH BOY HERE WE GO! I started spraying and the algae just pretty much dissolved immediately. I had that enclosure done in about 15 minutes. And thanks to the rain, the rinsing went easy too! That enclosure looked bright and clean. Pretty much came out perfect.

I know some people don't like the xjet, and for the life of me I don't know why, but that thing saved my butt today, and now I am going to use it on pool enclosures, most of the time.

The xjet is a nice tool to have in your arsenal. I can't stand using a roof pump so we grab the xjet to pre-treat nasty driveways and such. Or when a boost is needed in general.

Love My - X - Jet

I usually just move my DS injector and bucket closer to the gun.

+1 We avoid parking on driveways so when its a long driveway and a huge pool area in the back we almost always are running large ammounts of hose and move our injector.

Hey Pat, I did that with mine but I attached a 1/4 QC so I can switch out wands. I keep a short 7" wand on there for general use, but can swap it out for a longer one if needed. I like the versatility.
Works great. Neat idea.
Yeah I use a quick connect to switch between my regular wand or my modified xjet wand.

Hi Doug, what's the reasoning behind this?

Doug = Anything to avoid using an X-Jet? LOL

My Mama always said "stubborn is as stubborn does and so does Doug Rucker". Never knew what she actually meant by that, but she always said it. Maybe her bucket was too close to her trailer?

We have an x jet on all our rigs, but it's not our #1 choice for for residential. When/IF we use it it's usually on Commercial Properties. Nothing against X jet or X jet users, just not my preferred method.

All our guys love the X-jets over down streaming. I guess its to each his own. We can just move so much faster with X-jets because of how much product we can get on the surface.

Was only teasing! Glad to hear you have nothing against me. lol

The DS and X-Jet thing is like cats and dogs - always will be. I like being the dog. HaHa

Isn't using an XJet technically downstreaming? I love this thing. Had a long sidewalk covered in the black algae stains. Sprayed a strong mix with my xjet and by the time I got around the corner, stains were gone. I know with regular downstreaming that would have taken a few doses and a lot more dwell time.
