Fire At Bossier Fast Food Restaurant
The Bossier City Fire Department responded to a fire this morning at the Wendy’s restaurant in the 2700 block of Airline Drive.
The first fire crews arrived on the scene within five minutes and found flames coming out of an exhaust chimney on the roof.
Firefighters had the fire under control within 10 minutes.
An investigation by the Bossier City Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau found the fire was caused by a piece of kitchen equipment that had been left on overnight.
The fire was contained to that piece of equipment and to the exhaust chimney.
The structure itself sustained no fire damage.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
