Boston firefighters at downtown restaurant fire
February 5, 2010 01:26 PM
A small fire broke out in the ductwork of a downtown Boston restaurant shortly after 1 p.m., the Boston Fire Department said today.
The blaze began in a vent in Houston's Restaurant on the ground floor of 60 State St., said Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald.
"The problem with ductwork is getting access to the inside of the duct when there's smoke and all," MacDonald said.
Firefighters are on scene this afternoon.
