TEMPE, AZ -- Officials say a first alarm fire at a Tempe restaurant most likely started as a grease fire.
Tempe Fire Department Capt. Matt Tripoli said when the first crews arrived smoke and fire could be seen in the kitchen area of Chuy's at Baseline Road and McClintock Drive.
Extra crews responded from Mesa and Phoenix, according to Tripoli.
Tripoli said the fire was contained to the kitchen, with the fire burning underneath the hood system. He said there was also some smoke and water damage to the building.
No injuries were reported and no damage estimate has been released.
