My final conclusion on the UAMCC-pressure washing

Joining the PWNA was one of the first things I did. This kinda ties into Tony's post a bit. I was the same way as Tony's supplier. Joined and paid dues to orgs for using the logo. I didn't participate and nor did I care what the org did. I just wanted the marketing angle.

What turned me off to the PWNA originally was because of their own tangled back office. Their phone was shut off for awhile. No one was alerted to when their membership was up. My membership expired for a few months and I still had their logo in my signature. I honestly didn't know. I don't set reminders for organizations. They either bill me or send me notice I have to reapply.

That was the point the PWNA was falling apart. If I could go back to every board member of that time I would apologize for acting like an azz and getting caught in this same hysteria that is happening with thUAMCC. God has a funny way of balancing things out. I quit the PWNA.. maybe for the wrong reasons.

That's pretty much how it went down, John. I never got a cease and desist letter but I pulled it off the material I had it on.

First off, Ron can tell you I don't agree with his tactic for proving his point in this case. But it DID prove the point. I indicated that you were basically getting a taste of your own medicine when the UAMCC goes out passing out RFP's without any regard as to whether a good, sharing active contractor has the account or not. It's justifiable when you do it under the cloak of an "org", but it's not so much fun when someone else does it to you is it?

I was banned for my post, pointing out the hypocrisy that goes on at the UAMCC board regarding it's blatant attempts to KEEP RON OUT.

Don was not banned for posting another contractor's RAP SHEET!!!

My post was good enough to remain. YET I WAS BANNED FOR IT.

Don's was removed by you. YET HE IS A UAMCC ICON.

Once again you will justify it it because it was Ron doing it, but I still think you should still be outraged that he did a personal attack on a contractor. You are the only one that supported his sleazy and unprofessional move. There was a dozen or more post telling him it was sleazy, there were over 30 calls or email to me saying they couldn't believe someone would do something that dirty, well respected contractors right here told him it was wrong in phone calls. My, my. Do you guys realize how many people are truly turned off associating with anything that has to do with orgs because of issues like this. Seems to always be something. I'm not current with all the issues discussed here, I chose to exclude myself from BB dram a couple years ago, but it all looks bad. I'm an outsider looking in here guys, and it appears to be a bunch of BS, whining, and finger pointing. No desire on my part to associate myself or my company with either party here.

Simple facts guys there are always going to be those who don't agree about how this industry is represented.I see things I don't like in this Org. just as I did with PWNA.I was called every name under the sun back then and even had my business threatened because I wouldn't just get on board and follow their way of thinking.
A couple of months ago I expressed my opinions on the JITB/Uamcc deal and in retaliation I received untraceable emails threatening not only me,but my family.All of this because I don't agree with someone else's line of thinking.I was shocked at the lengths that someone would go to so I wouldn't stand against Uamcc when I have never made my stance publicly known.
I have stated before there are some merits in what the Uamcc may represent for the industry,but there are flaws and instead of the management team making adjustments that might draw in a greater membership they choose to keep the mantra "We are moving on with or without you".

I don't and haven't condoned what Ron did, in public, nor in private. I have told him so.

I wouldn't have done it.

How much clearer can it be than that?

We learned a lesson from the 911 terrorist attacks. That lesson being, you don't let terrorists continue to make small attacks unanswered (Clinton) or it will escalate into bigger attacks.

Just because I said we learned a lesson from it does that mean I endorse or condone the attacks? Does that mean I am making excuses for them?

That's ludicrous.

In the same way there was a lesson to be learned (by you) in the (wrong) actions of Ron. That was my point.
