Interior Cleaning-The Joe Crowder Experience

Wow! That pretty much sums it up. If you can't learn, comprehend, or make money from spending time with Joe then you should hang up your wands and go bag groceries or something. The amount of knowledge I was able to get from Joe in the few days spending time with him was unbelievable. Joe could sell a ketchup Popsicle to a women in white gloves who's allergic to tomatoes.

There is a strip of road about a mile and half long by my house with about 15-20 restaurants and about 10 hotels. I now have every name, number, and email address to every GM on the strip. This is half the battle. Not only do I have every GMs info, but also have about 10 DMs info. People were eager to give this info to us. I did a sample cleaning for a restaurant on this strip, with not the best results and a difficult GM. Joe made it his goal to go back to this restaurant and get me in. I did another sample cleaning and knocked it out of the park, with Joe's INCREDIBLE DEGREASER. Not only was the GM blown away, she brought a cleaning guy out from the restaurant to show him the incredible difference. (posted pic) Not only did Joe loosen her up, but we toured the entire kitchen (it was BIG) and showed her what we could do for her. She was more than receptive and wanted prices immediately. I know have an almost $2000 interior cleaning proposal out to her that will most likely be completed. We also did another demo for an interior for a DM that is in charge of 11 locations, that was very interested in my interior cleaning services. never thought I could put out 100 gallons inside a restaurant and not have anything to worry about. Pretty awesome.

Joe showed me his style of getting info, sales calls, cleaning, computer programs, and experiences. Joe has a style all his own and I can tell you from observing that it WORKS! If I could mimmick him, I would be making an absolute killing. Interior cleaning is a gold mine and hardly anybody does it. Within a year I can guarantee I'll be making more money doing this than any other service I offer. This kind of work is perpetual, not the "hey you cleaned my house a year ago, could you come do it again?" It's more like "hey, last month looked great, you are coming back this month right?"

He also showed me how to clean a gas station canopy for $200 and do it in less than an hour. SWEET! Nothin like making $200 in an hour.

I could go on and on writing about the 5 days we spent together, but I don't have that much time. All I can say is Joe is a great guy who knows way too much. I also had some serious personal issues going on in my life, and Joe was MORE than a friend to me about the situation I was dealing with. He could of ignored it, but he took it head on and help get through it with his advice and experiences. He also brought to my attention some things that could be affecting my business and what I need to do to work on those too.

All I can say is THANKS A MILLION to Joe for the wealth of knowledge shared with me. I even gonna have him back up here, there was to much to take in, in the little time we had together, I want more!

Hey Joe, Post some of your million pictures you took.

That is great that you learned a lot about interior kitchen cleaning, tile and grout cleaning and restaurant equipment cleaning.

Shhhhhhhhhhh...................... Don't tell everyone in your area about this, sometimes it is good to keep a secret. hahahahaha j/k

I agree, I definitely don't won't any of my competitors knowing what I know now.
You must want someone to know. You have posted this on at least two forums. Who is Joe Crowder? Does he have a website? Does he give discounts for promotions?

So you put down degreser and did a demo, we have been telling everyone here this for years. How is this big news? Congrats !!

Yep here and RCIA. Don't really have that much competition here, so I'm not worried about it. No website either, you know you're doing good when you don't need a website to bring in business. Not sure about discounts or promotions.

Last guy I spoke to had not good stuff to say about the Joe Crowder experience. Guess theres good and bad.

Shawn, Glad you had a good experience, unfortunately we didn't maybe you can get in touch with Joe for us since he won't return our phone calls or emails. Remind him that Jim F. wants his money back too not just me.

Here's a copy of the last email I sent him.

Joe,

I am requesting a full refund for the class you offered. The class was not as you advertised and was of no value to me. You did not provide the materials advertised, marketing material, contracts, the hundreds of before and after pictures, etc.
The sales information was basic common sense, not the insight of an industry expert and the hands on training was nonexistent and never occurred.

The lack of professionalism displayed by the constant insults of others in the industry and your frequent checking of your ebay auction were distracting and a waste of time.

The demo of the kitchen floor cleaning was worthless and even the next day it was virtually impossible to detect that the floor was even clean.

The ‘field trip’ was a further waste of time as we couldn’t enter one establishment as you had ‘pissed off’ the owner the day prior. Your story of another general manager at a different establishment throwing you out also the day prior, shows very little evidence that this is a service these establishments would even use.

The fact that I had to drive you and the other participants on the ‘field trip’ as you had no vehicle and made no provisions for transportation further demonstrate the disorganized, unprofessional nature of the class and its lack of value.

I respectfully ask that you provide a full refund.

I want to Apologize for this Happening to you. I want to see if we can get this resolved.

John,
I am sorry to hear of your poor experience, after speaking to you prior to the course, I know that you were excited about what you were supposed to get.
Hope this all works out for you, but from what you describe, it seems to lack what you were expecting. I am also glad that I did not go after hearing this. Hope this all works out in a positive way.
Perhaps Joe will comment about this here so that this does not seem one sided.
Thanks for the insight and heads up.
Mike

Posting this for clyde

my name is Clyde Sampsel the owner of H20 Powerwashing NJ. I participated in same class same day, same location. I sat next to you and Jim and I am disturbed of the comments you Garden State House Wash and Roof Cleaning are making here, so I will tell everyone my side of the of the story to the best of my ability.

Joe since you won't return my calls or answer my emails, heres a copy of the last email I sent you, and as you already know Jim F wants his money back too.

Joe,
I am requesting a full refund for the class you offered. The class was not as you advertised and was of no value to me. You did not provide the materials advertised, marketing material, contracts, the hundreds of before and after pictures, etc
At the opening of the Class Joe asked each person, why did you come here, and you said " I don't know I just wanted to check out the class", then you said you wanted to learn how to clean grocery store coolers, well in all the discription of the course I seen it clearly did not say any where that this topic was included?, and as far as the advertising material, marketing, and etc was going to be mailed out on CD disc.
And for the concern of Jim, he came to the class to learn how to clean residential floors, again the course discription never said anything about cleaning residential floors, so I asked my self why either one of you came.

The sales information was basic common sense, not the insight of an industry expert and the hands on training was nonexistent and never occurred.
No hands on training? Joe gave you guys two options. option one) we can clean the entire restaurant kitchen where the meeting was held at 10:00 pm or we can clean a part of it now which was around 8:00 PM and you and the other guy opted for the early time because you didnt want to stay late, and even at the time of the cleaning you had no desire to pay attention you and the other guy was involved with other things. again I thought to my self why you even bothered comming to this class,

The lack of professionalism displayed by the constant insults of others in the industry and your frequent checking of your ebay auction were distracting and a waste of time.
I have no clue what your even talking about on this one, Joe was browsing the internet for class related things,
I don't recall Joe insulting anyone, on the other hand I clearly remember you personally insulting me and my company shirt I was wearing, remember you told me I should burn my shirts?
to be honest with you I didnt even feel comfortable being in that class because you was acting all arogant while carrying a chip on your shoulder.

The demo of the kitchen floor cleaning was worthless and even the next day it was virtually impossible to detect that the floor was even clean.
the biggest reason is that because the grout was black and it didn't show a big contrast after the cleaning.

I was with Joe, and we didn't get thrown out of any restaurant, that was just a figure of speech and you knew that before you expanded on it.
You had to drive the participates on the field trip lol. It was a whole half mile down the road we could of all walked, and besides Joe said you guys can meet him there or we all can drive together.
And you failed to mention that Joe took us to Chili restaurant and bought us lunch while discussing all the cleaning possibilities there at that particular store and not to mention all the stores at the mall

I respectfully ask that you provide a full refund.
I clearly remember Joe asking you over half dozen of times, what can I do to help you, and please ask me more questions, and are you getting information and you was content.
so with all this being said I'm really deeply agitated at how you could try to attempt to discredit Joe on this board and ask for you money back.
I must say you are a idiot for this fabricated (non-sense post that you put up just so you can try to get a refund! you should be ashamed of your-self!
I edited this post a couple of times, I personally think Joe is a great guy, he goes completely out of his way to help you, he ask you over and over if you understand everything, I am just so disturbed how Garden State could post this non-sense, It's people like him that makes people not want to help others any more.

I was staying out of this and giving Joe a chance which was until the 10th of Sept. Why he needs that much time I do not know( it's been a month). He was not set up for a two day event. I guess he has the 5 day "all day with joe" down. What I received was an unorganized, unprepared, half hearted attempt at a 2 day seminar. The hands on part was a complete waste of time. When you leave a seminar and start to drive home you have time to reflect. I felt I got a raw deal for what I paid. I asked for half back for a half baked meal ( not exact words). I felt I received a one day information seminar and still have not received the information.

Joe has to go back to the drawing board to put a two day event together. He is a very knowledgeable person with much to offer.

Shawn I hope Joe takes care of this soon. Second why didn't he get it resolved before this?

If you have a customer not happy you do something.

Nothing to take care of here.

I didn't want to get into this with Clyde over at RCIA but I'll go through it point by point here since you want to bring it here.

I spoke with Joe extensively prior to the class and he knew exactly why I was there and what I wanted to learn, he assured me he would cover this fully, and where are the materials? Oh yeah he kept leaving them at your house Clyde, I guess he crashed there while he was in NJ? Where are the materials it's been weeks I paid $899 and this guy can't come up with a copy of a CD?

The sales information was basic common sense, not the insight of an industry expert and the hands on training was nonexistent and never occurred.

Hands on training with the equipment! I thought he would have equipment there, he had your dual Nikro system with a vacuum surfacer. If you recall he said he couldn't discuss your system because of his "agreement with Jerry from Scirocco" which from what I'm hearing doesn't exist. I know how to use a surface cleaner I been doing this 10 years. The systems he described was nothing close to what you had, none of the filters etc.

The kitchen demo was a joke, you were outside with the equipment turning the vac and pw on off so how you can even comment on what was going on onside? Joe didn't want to do the whole floor because he was pissed at the hotel manager and big deal you run a surface cleaner over the middle of the floor. Why didn't he show us the prep required to protect the different areas, walls, thresholds etc? When and how do you add the dye? I wanted to leave because it was a further waste of time.

Let's see how about the pictures of him dressed up as AC with the hat? Do you really want me to go on about the others? I apologize about the shirts but advertising $250.00 roof cleaning in a market like ours where customers don't even know what roof cleaning is sends the wrong message. This isn't Florida where roof cleaning has been around a long time we need to educate poeple on the correct methods and what we can do not bait and switch prices.

to be honest with you I didnt even feel comfortable being in that class because you was acting all arogant while carrying a chip on your shoulder.

I'm sorry that the pictures I posted on RCIA of that demo at a customers house with the ruined driveway and aweful section of cleaned roof turned out to be you, I had no idea who it was. I'm sure this may have added to your discomfort and again I apologize. http://roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com/t44394338/bad-demo/

The demo of the kitchen floor cleaning was worthless and even the next day it was virtually impossible to detect that the floor was even clean.
the biggest reason is that because the grout was black and it didn't show a big contrast after the cleaning.

I know as Joe said he never saw black grout before, give me a break.

The ‘field trip’ was a further waste of time as we couldn’t enter one establishment as you had ‘pissed off’ the owner the day prior. I was with Joe, and we didn't get thrown out of any restaurant, that was just a figure of speech and you knew that before you expanded on it.

I figure of speech? The general manager finally showed up after we tricked the rest of the staff into letting us in and threw us out, that's no figure of speech? What about the guy at the place in the mall? We couldn't even step foot in there, we had to stand outside the entrance looking in. I was embarrasssed for Joe and talk about uncomfortable!

The distance is not the point, when I pay $899 for a class I expect a professional program, written materials, a guide something, but all we got were promises of a CD which still hasn't arrived. I could give a shit about driving but it was just another example of how unprofessional this whole thing was.

I understand Joe is your friend and I never said he wasn't a good guy, he just hasn't figured out how to do a good weekend program. You can call me an idiot and you're right I'm an idiot for giving Joe $899.

I would have to say that I took the class in Tampa and everything that was said in class was the most basic stuff, although we where suppose to have the rest of te class online and am still waiting on that to happen! I sure hope that the online course in more detailed.
