Stripping old paint from wood stairs

I have an old customer we did building cleaning for. He has approached us to do some wood sanding and painting. I was wondering what would be the easiest way to remove the old paint and get the wood ready for painting. Besides sanding because of all the railings which will take forever, is there a good stripper I can apply then P/W off? see picture below:

Are you going to be repainting it again? If so no need to strip, just sand the peeling stuff, prime and you can paint again

some situations we will very gingerly turbo nozzle any loose paint. just don't let the new guy do it.

yea, what Charlie said. But, one thing i did find that strips latex good is zip strip.
