12% Sh

I currently have a place I purchase 12% SH from. I have no problem on house washes, but it doesn't do that great on roofs.Have to do more pressure to rinse than I should. I spoke with Chris(Apple Roof) today and told him my problem and how I mix my sauce. He said my mix is fine, but that he thinks I'm not getting the best SH. Does anyone in Georgia have a distirbutor they would recommend??? Maybe one that will ship directly to shop??
Thanks, Danny

How are you applying it?

Also whats the weather like. Sorry for all the questions im sure you ask APPLE all of this

Most places around here don't know what 12% is little on 16%. Maybe I can get your vendors info and see if they have a distributor here in Ga. I've done the yellow page search and call every pool supply store but no luck. Thanks,Danny

Well on cold days its going to act different.

I use a different type of SH, get my chems from Industrial Chemical. The chems I get are on the low side of what Ive seen other people pay. I think this is thier number (404) 214-0206

You should not be using any pressure to clean a roof, the chemical does all the work, you just rinse it with garden hose pressure, nothing more or you could blow the granules off and damage the property.

Danny, you know where I get mine from. Buying from them for 7 years now and never a problem. Roofs turn out fine.
How old is the 12%?
Univar is the freshest (sp) way to get it, but I don't know if you need that much.
If you ever need some let me know our shop is almost next door to Marchman Chemical.

I hope this helps Danny ?
Like I said on the phone, you must be getting some old Chemical that has gone bad ?
Get it where the others get theirs from, and you should be good to go :)
The day you called me, it was 82 degrees here in Florida.
I forget it is COLD up in Georgia.
Increased dwell time is indicated for cold weather cleaning compared to hot weather.
5 to 10 minutes are not always enough in the cold.
I have cleaned here in Florida when it was 45 degrees outside, and it took almost 1/2 an hour dwell time.
Maybe some cold weather guys can chime in here ?
I just do not see a lot of cold weather here in Tampa.

i had 55 gal leftover from october i just dumped it out over near my well. the MSDS says it decomposes over time. it didnt even smell like bleach.
