13 hp still running rough

Maybe I put the carb on wrong. It was running better before I attempted to do the stuff myself. If I bring it to a shop what kind of bill am I looking at? I reslly want o get this thing running so I can start making some money so I can buy a real machine. Hey Russ what's the biggest pump I can put on a gx390? I already have a 5 gpm direct drive on one engine. Is there a 2500 psi 5.5 or 6 gpm gear drive available(and can you get the gearbox too) . I don't need any more pressure than 2500 around here.
 
A shop will probably just replace the carb.

You can get a 5.5 direct drive, or a 5.5 with a gearbox. I carry both.
 
I has one come into the shop a few months back that would run fine until you put it under a load. The engine oil was low, but not low enough for the low oil shutdown to activate. I filled it with oil and it ran fine. It was a Honda knock-off.
 
Ralph, Get on ebay you get a brand new carb and gaskets for like 20-25 dollars. I just replaced mine and got it off ebay.

Cleaned carb twice and put new gaskets on...no go. maybe I'll get a new one and try it. if that doesn't do it I'm bringing it to the dump!
 
I would try replacing the carb and running without gas cap as Guy and Patrick mentioned.
Usually those 13 Hondas are easy to fix.
If not you can always look at the Predator or Lifan engines lol.
