2 step system

I think it is another company, not Paul.

oops my bad - notice the time - I am about blind right now :) Sorry Paul!!

Put that ice cold beverage down, step back from the computer and to take a little nap and things will be bright and shiny and new when you wake up. hahahahahahahahaha

Just kidding.

Nothing icy cold here - very strong coffee........I should probably just hook up an IV - I never sleep the night before we're scheduled to travel - too worried I'm going to forget something or the house will be dirty (silly girl stuff LOL)

For a while we had a system set up where at the tip of the gun I had a DEMA downstream injector with the wand attached to it (it would inject chems at around 1800psi) from there we had a 3 way valve with 1/4 hose running back to the chems on the truck. When we wanted to change chems wwe just flipped the valve from soap to acid to rinse. The cool thing is you dont have to wait for the lines to clear and if you miss a spot you can hit it real quick without running back to your rig. If I have pictures somewhere I'll send them.

I'll see if I can find them. I dont use the setup anymore but I can explain it better if need be.

I have used that Celeste...you know everything.

I had the same setup on a Chemex 2 step system that I used a few years back. It allows you to control the two chems and start and stop the unit at the gun. this unit was set up for high pressure soap (upstream). It worked well but the length of hose became an issue and it was heavy and cumbersome so I switched back to downstream. Plus when I ran chems through the pump the got tore up pretty fast probably 2 a year...we were washing a lot of stuff though. I also had occasional wire breakage issues so you need to be careful when dragging it around corners.

Sounds like the Bio Clean system...

I am sure it is like Bio Cleans. I didnt want to step on any ones trademarks or anything like that. The one I set up you can do for a whole lot less I am sure, under 200 bucks.
The only reason I dont use it anymore is the weight of the lines got to you after a while and the draw rates were such that you had to find REALLY strong chems to make it work.

I have used, though never owned a system like that. If that is really the price, that is a killer price. I have also never seen it offered with a heater before.
When upstreaming like that, especially with Acid, you do have to use a CAT pump, because they are better suited to using with acid like that.

If you can post them, that would be cool to see.

Do you do things different now, if so, how?

I have used the DEMA setup and done properly it works very nice. The only downsides are the extra hoses you drag around and the fittings going in and out of the DEMA are a bit weak and easy to break. Upside is you can switch chems instantly.

Can you guys post pictures of the systems you use or email them to me?

I would like to see what some of you came up with and the efficiency of your systems.

Thanks.
