Looks like a rip off of the Landa Water Jet. I would not buy this, if this is your price range I would look at floaters instead. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BE-PRESSURE...599?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53eeb9a9c7 You can pick up floaters for $50-$100 more than this.

Floaters are cheaper and still get the job done. Especially if you are doing residential work floaters work great. I just dont trust these old surface cleaners like this when you can not test them in person. I have bought old surface cleaners on Craigslist but I was able to bring a unit with me and test them before purchasing. That thing might need a new swivel.

Good Luck with your purchase let us know what you got and how you like it.

Floaters are great. My personal favorite is the adjustable water jet by Landa.

The surface cleaner you posted about is also made by Landa. It is called the cyclone. It's the same thing as the water jet only the spray bar is non adjustable.

The water jets retail for around $1800 and the cyclones retail for around $1200.

I've purchased the water jets new and found one of the best deals for them here: http://www.aqua-engineers.com/Landa_Surface_Cleaners.html

I have bought the last few 28" Hydrotek surface cleaners I have for $300 each, both of them were only used once or twice. I think they retail brand new for about $800 though.

I have a 5.5gpm 4000 psi machine. I would like to get the biggest S/C I can, what that 24 / 26 inch ? anyone got one for sale??????? Did my first hot top driveway today.

I have a cyclone s/c and we only used as a back up. The problem I don't like is the ends are screwed on, even with lock tight if you hit a rock or anything it takes off light a jet spinning way to fast. I would not buy another cyclone.

I do very little flatwork, but my 20" works fine. Except the arm is broken & I have a job to do tomorrow. I borrowed a buddy's 26" Mi-T-M, am I going to have any problems powering it with Honda gx 390 3800 psi 4g machine? Also, if the area to be cleaned is 100' from water source, am I better off using a 75' pressure hose and 25' supply hose? Or vice-versa?

Lands has new arms that are welded. They are one piece and work great. Around $30

You are going to be walking very slow with that large surface cleaner, I walk slow with my Mi-T-M 28" surface cleaner (it is really the Big Guy from Whisper Wash, they put the Mi-T-M on them and a couple other brands also) with my 5.6gpm machine so I don't use it unless with my 8gpm machine and then it does ok, you really need at least 8 or more gpm's to run it.

Are you using a buffer tank or running the garden hose to the pressure washer?

You are in a rough position.

I would think that a lot of guys that use that size pressure washer might leave it on the trailer when working and just run long pressure hoses like most of us do but you don't want to risk cavitating the pump. No matter what you do, you are stuck using the friend's large surface cleaner.

You mention that you have a 3800psi machine and you don't need that much pressure to clean concrete, houses and most other things so running a longer pressure hose will not hurt your pressure that much as long as your pressure hose is not smaller than 3/8".

I would really call around and see if you can locate another spray bar or rent or borrow another surface cleaner. At Home Depot they rent a surface cleaner that is a Simpson that looks like about 20" or 21" which will work ok with your machine, I would go to the Home Depot and see if they have any.

Good luck.

Yeah, I already checked HDepot. Thanks for the insight, will give update.
