2steping vs 1step

how many here 2 step,1step,or just brush everything. I have accounts that I can get clean with just soap. Then there are the ones that only get washed once a month. Those I 2step. Some customers stand there and make sure you brush everything and you don't dare even mention acid around them.
 
We do all 3 but we very very rarely brush and yes our trucks look great.
 
the funny thing is I think the trucks turn out better if you dont brush them. It seems like the guys always miss a spot or 2 with the brush and it stands out.
 
We almost exclusively wash everything via two-stepping. Single stepping doesn't work here very good, and nearly impossible in the spring, fall, and winter months. It really depends on location and frequesncy in most cases. We have found that an increasing number of customers are scaling back the frequency of washes in this economy.
