3 way Ball valve on injector

I am looking to hook a 3 way ball valve to my chem injector so that i can just toggle the valve to go from soaping to drawing water/flushing the injector

So the ball valve would hook up to my chem tank, my injector, and my buffer tank. The plan was to put a 1/2" bulkhead near the bottom on the side of my 275G buffer tank then run a 1/2" mpt to 1/4" barb out of it to 1/4" poly tubing to the valve. Will this layout cause any issues considering the size change or the pressure from all the weight of the water tank feeding towards the valve? Should i be putting this bulkhead on the top of my buffer tank instead and running a hose down into the tank?

Thanks

In round numbers, each foot of water in the buffer tank that is above the level of the injector will add one psi to the water pressure at the injector..

So no, It will not cause any problems to plumb low in the buffer tank.

Thanks Tim! Still loving these signs, have got me a few jobs already.

I use a three way with my injector. Makes it easier turning soap on or off and flushing out the injector. I put a filtered inlet on my 1/4 line and drop it down into my buffer tank through the top.
