I have seen several brands like the one company out of Tampa, there is another that I forgot the name but they have youtube videos like the others but the most popular brand out there is Stripe Hog which has an F450 rigged up like the larger trucks but does smaller jobs.
Until you posted the link, I did not know that the lazy liner company was building those machines. It is a strange story but Lazy Liner invented the driver unit for the parking lot stripers then the Paint machine giant "Graco" copied them almost identical about a year or so later on and has been mass producing them all around the world were Dave at Fine Line is making them but not as many.
I found a company that sells the UHP vacuum surface cleaner heads, you just need the 40kpsi UHP unit, vacuum unit with truck, tank, plumbing, etc..... The surface cleaner head will run about 25k more or less but the 40kpsi UHP unit will be about another 40k besides what the truck cost and vacuum system, etc.....
I have been asking guys all around if there is work for those machines but most say that the bulk of the work is driving to other cities doing large projects which would not be bad but the cost of one of those stripe hog style trucks is like $370k for a used rig.
It is amazing how they can use 40kpsi and not damage the concrete or asphalt surfaces when removing the striping paint or thermoplast from those surfaces.
Without the work lined up, that would be a large note to pay each month and a lot of worrying. hahahahaha
