One of our 6 wheelers sunk this past weekend in the river.....had to drove/float mine down on the other side of the rock and winch it up on rock to drain water out to pull it back on land:help:

It stayed under water about 45 min. before it got winched out, drained, drained and drained everything again and it was cranked back up that same day, oil still needs to be changed a few more times......So it will survive!
For the record.....My Argo did not sink....it was the Maxx.
He was crawling up the rocks and hung it up ....put it in reverse, tires grabbed somehow in the rocks and pulled the back in under water...10 -15 seconds is all it took!!

They are about the same the Argo 8x8 rides much much smoother but is 2x the cost.
We use a Argo 8x8 for duck and goose hunting and the are pefect for marsh areas and we put a 5 hp motor on the back and actually go out in the water. The 8x8 has a built in bilge pump but if you dunk it off some rocks it will sink too like the 6x6.
We were also informed last year that if we use any external power motor or go into a state waterway with it or hunt in a state waterway we have to register it as a boat.
