a bad 24 hrs

AWWW suck it up kid, you need to be tougher than that if yer gonna make it in this buisness!!

in the last 24 hrs., delavan on bandit locked up:mad:, both of my super suds suckers..no suckin:mad:, banjo valve on 275 gallon tank split:mad: and found out that aluminum ladder racks lose to low lying tree branches:mad:. bad day, i think I'll start drinking again

Delavans will not last forever, always have a spare on hand because they are not designed for what we use them for, we all are lucky that they do last a little while, usually time to make back many, many times what they cost us to buy them. Disposable so just flush them out at the end of each job and at the end of the day to get the most life out of them as possible.

What size wiring are you using on them?
How far is it from the Battery?
What size ca or cca are you using?
Is it a Marine or Regular car battery?
What size hose are you running inlet/outlet?
Do you have a screen/filter on the inlet?

Sometimes you can bang on the injectors to free the ball loose, they sometimes stick. Slowly remove the hose barb that is threaded in and see if the ball is stuck but be careful as those springs want to jump out and get lost.

Keep some rebuild kits there so when, not if those springs or o-rings go bad, it can be fixed quickly.

The Banjo valve, is that for fresh water to a pressure washer or are you using that for bleach? I hope not for bleach. Nothing lasts long around bleach, that is why I use tanks with no fittings on them when working with bleach.

Tell us all about these things and we can help you out.

I'm with ya'.
Two 100 ft hoses busted at the fitting, had to send the wife to get an overpriced 250'.
Went through two oring kits on the cox reel.
Rained all day and I got a coil cleaner facial. (Imagine a hot caustic mix misting on your face).
Brand new downstreamer stopped sucking we resorted to eventually slinging soap on the coils.......don't do that BTW.
Chris directed me into a parking overhang and bent one ladder into an "S" shape.

I picked a bad day to stop drinking.:D I'm serious, (and don't call me shirley)

for the sss carry wd40 and after takin the ball out, wipe it off and spray it

Hey Chris I think it is the Delevan roller pump for the Bandit. I had a lot of problems with them, but the brazing always broke on mine, they never locked up. Call bob and get the new roller pump they have that is keyed. Just make sure they fixed the bearing problem. I used mine a few times and the bearing popped out of the back of it.

Sorry you had a rough time Scott, but thats what almost everyday looked like for me last year. Ask Bob if you dont believe me. I called him at least a few times a week screaming (not about things that were his fault, just trying to get advice). We had pumps break, reels crap out, ladders break, pressure washers wouldnt crank (that was before our entire rig was stolen w/ no insurance), we had hoses come unreeled and drag the concrete and would have to cut sections off, poly guns crapped, bulkheads would leak, and on and on.....

So many times I had to convice my wife to get up the next day and deal with this crap. Now im gone and I call her after she does a job, and shes like "yea we had a little issue, but I fixed it." Like Nick said, suck it up and muscle through. Try having everything stolen one afternoon, and having 2 weeks worth of worth lined up and having to rebuild completely so you dont lose business......

Some people pay large money for a chemical peel. :p

Good example of how to keep on keeping on!

We all have bad days, bad weeks or bad years, we have to keep on because there are people that depend on us and we can't let them down.

If some problems with your trailer in a day or two are the worst you have, feel lucky. Some of us have had a lot worse like Scott dealing with all that or even having his trailer stolen! Scott had it bad but kept on, we all have problems, we have to just keep on.

Some of us have had to deal with having their son almost die 3 times in a 4 month period, having 3 serious brain and stomache surgeries for the same problem 3 times in 4 months, spending weeks in the hospital hoping that customers would understand and believe you when you tell them the truth.

I burned the skin off my right hand so I could not work for a month but had to so I had money to pay some of the bills, feed my son and myself.

My brother's wife and family was in a crash and burned alive and died so I was there for him staying there with him most of the time, coming home once in a while and doing the little bit of work I had at the time.

My mom had falled down and broke the bones in her arm and had to have surgery and a titanium plate with many screws in her arm so she could use it again and I drove her all around to places, help her at the house, etc....

We all have problems, some worse some not so bad, you just have to keep on, it will get better.

Like they say, "What does not kill you makes you stronger."

Good Luck.
