Acorns on sidewalk

I just put in a bid to clean the sidewalks around an office building. On the back side there are a lot of trees, and a lot of fallen acorns. They've made a mess of the sidewalk, as you can see from the picture.

Will my usual SH and surfactant mix clean this sufficiently, or do I need something more potent?

Pre-treat with your mix - let dwell - clean as usual - post treat with straight SH if it's still really noticeable (50/50 if not too bad). Maybe use a scene mask (Elemonator or Cherry Bomb).

One of the things I noticed was the pinkish colored concrete. Make sure to be careful with leaving behind wand marks and or swirl marks from your surface cleaner. That colored concrete can be difficult to "feather in" or really shows if a spot is missed.

You can also see black marks where the "cream has faded" this may not blend properly and or will still be there after the cleaning. Make sure the customers expectations are qualified before you start and or agree on a price for the cleaning

Just my 2c

Where is your signature?

If you wanna make a better impression, after the cleaning,..brighten up by applying some oxalic mixed at about 6 OZ. per gallon of hot water and apply with dedicated pump.

Let sit for 10 minutes and rinse. Come back when it's dry and see the difference it makes.

OK, I've seen several references to "oxalic". What is it and where do you get it?

Oxalic acid. Available from chemical suppliers as a crystal/powder in 50 lb bags. Used for brightening concrete removing rust stains on concrete or vinyl. I've had good luck down streaming to brighten concrete but unless its a red stain I've had better luck on tannin stains like acorns with bleach. But ox will def work too. Also primarily used to neutralize caustics and brighten wood after stripping with caustic.

Thanks. I forgot I ordered some F8. Got it in the other day and used it right away on my drive and mailbox. Removed irrigation stains with no problem. I do have what I think is a gas stain on my drive (really dark). What is the best product to use on petroleum type stains? I have some EBC on hand (haven't used it yet) and ordered some F9 for these tough NW FL rust stains. Thanks again.
