Am I missing something here.

Just finished talking to A DM of a Fast Food chain on pressure washing sidewalks, drive thru pad and dumpsters.
Dumpster corral is a big deep double and filthy, more than usual.
Give my bid for initial clean with the understanding of no chance of gaining a maintenance agreement and it might be one store this month and 6 next. DM only has 8 stores, just thought he might be the "in".
He quickly informs me that it is to high and he can get it done for $325. This from a National chain that has heavy insurance requirements and is open 24-7.
Does this price indicate a viable billing for a business, I don't want their business for that price.

500.00 Hmmm well guess I may need to rethink this if 325.00 is high.

$250.00 is the going rate here in FL for that work.

$300 -400 Here in NJ

Thank's for the insight. You know the aggravating thing is that they will spend more money out of the budget on stupid things than this.
I know some DM's wont spend a dime unless they are in fear of losing their job or an inspection is coming on.
But anyway thanks again.

We cleaned a TGI fridays this summer and was over $1000. We price everything out seperately in our bid down to the very last detail.
Drive thru concrete=x
Curbs=x
Awnings=x per Awning
Dumpster=x
Dumpster concrete Pad=x
Its much easier to sell this service when they see exactly how little they are paying for each service. Make sense.

It's always amazed me how cheap this work goes for as well... It's why we stay in residential. I keep trying to drift over into more commercial but your all so damn cut throat! :) The commercial we do get we get paid very well for.

Just stopped by a FILTHY TGI Friday's yesterday morning. The GM said he's getting the place done once a month for $95, and he said he was going to buy a PW and have his employee's do it, because he "thinks" he get it done alot cheaper himself...

I didn't bother to even waste my time on the sale after that...
