Anyone have any experience with these diesel engines?

They've peaked my interest, just wondering if anyone has had one. How many hours did you get out of it? How much money did you have to spend on it, initial investment and upkeep?

I did not see a brand name on it or anywhere in the info.

The way it looks, I would think it is a chinese clone of a brand name diesel engine just not sure what brand.

There is not a lot of information about it, who makes it or even about the seller, I would stay away as it looks like a scam.

I'd say so... Thank you, Doug. I was skeptical, but I have to admit that I was hoping someone would be raving about how great they were.

I see the issue with the seller, but I need to comment on the diesel engine. I have used a couple cheap diesel engines, they would never last and I always had small issues with them. All the money I saved in fuel and the cost of the engine I typically spent replacing it with a new one and or having to spend time working on it.

If you are serious about going diesel get a good one from the start or go gas until you can afford the diesel. I have went the cheap diesel route and am telling you how things will turn out.

Honestly, my goal is to go diesel all the way (truck and rig). But I certainly don't want to blow my money on something that I'll regret later. Thanks for the input!

Another thing to keep in mind, these imported engines have virtually no support after the sale. Trying to find someone to fix it or a place to buy parts for it could be quite frustrating.
