Apartment Complex-3 story 32 Buildings-Help

He is only having one person working on the job. At $4000 a week 8 hours a day that's $100 per hour. I would do that every day, all day and be happy. If one man working can make $4000 a week and $200k a year, I think most people would be happy with that

Absolutely. Didn't realize he was working alone and pocketing most of it.

Well Doug, if I'm working alone and a job is $1000 I can pocket $850.

Understand that, I just see where he is saying the job will make $36,000.00, (4000.00 a week x 9weeks) If I am reading correctly that is the total gross sale. He's not gonna make that, therefore it won't come to the $100.00 an hour, let alone MAKING $36,000.00 for a nine week period. I am sure everybody here knows all that, but I just didn't see where that was figured in anywhere in theses posts.

Fire Alarms _ unless they are turned off the will be going off!

Any water vapors will set them off - hot or cold - it does not matter however the steam from hot water seems to make them go off quicker

Funny story, the pm was supposed to have them turned off for us, they were switched to "silent" instead, we were doing interior walkways, I walked out and into the presence of about 15 Firefighters.......woops!

Also moisture will kill the mother boards which can run as much as $400.00 each. You must have them take complete responsibility for them 100%. I have had water from the third floor run in a crack down the wall into the 1st story fire alarm control box.

I would shoot for $7,500.00 a week. I use to shoot for $10,000.00 a week. It a whale and you eat it one bite at a time. Ask the company if you can do a one day rate and see how much you can get done in one day and what the variables are. They will respect you for that!!!!!!!!! Then based on your findings price the job. If you did a good job cleaning and looked professional on the one day project they will take the course of least resistance and hire you to complete the job.

I see what you're saying. But thats like having a regular job and saying "I make $20 an hour" literally you are but you dont take that home. Same concept.
