AR 620 electric machine power

I've got an AR630 electric 2gpm 2000 psi machine and a couple of 2 hp water cannon 1500 psi electric units.

How much Inverter would I have to get to run one of them as an emergency filter cleaning unit in the bed of the pickup?

2000 watt won't do it, I've already tried it.

2,000 watts will barely start a burner. The running amp draw is hugely different from start up amps. I think a 2 hp motor draws 19 - 21 amps running. 19 amps times 120 volts is 2,280 watts. Start up need about 2.5 times the running watts. A 5,500 watt generator would run 1 machine.

Ouch! I used to run a walmart 1000psi yellow karcher on that 2k inverter so I though a 3k inverter might do it. Back to the drawing board!
