So we have decided recently to start doing some heavy marketing in various advertising methods to increase our customer base and we are going to figure out our average price per customer from each marketing effort and at the end of next year we are gonna go through and take out the bad and double up on the good marketing techniques.
I was just wondering if anyone out there has done something similar to this? I am curious what the average cost per customer is? I have not figured this out for my own business ever before but a friend of mine has a large service company with recurring weekly accounts and her average cost per customer is $278. So for every $278 in advertising she does she gets another new customer which adds $572 to her yearly gross.
Has anyone else figured their cost per customer in general and with various marketing techniques?
