Best practices for washing a c-store (gas station)

We have been asked to bid a few c-stores. We are new to pressure washing and are looking for the best practices for washing the concrete and asphalt. We have just purchased a new hot water rig (3500 PSI and 4.8 GPM) Could one of you pros let us know what is the best method (e.g. surface cleaner and a certain chemical) and things to be careful when doing a project like this.

Do a search on Caustic Soda or Sodium Hydroxide for your chemical.
 
Hey Trebor you are just down the street from me .. I am in Richland, MS.. Go to Harcross in Vicksburg.. You can buy caustic in 50 lb bags .. There is a limit you have to buy I think its like 6 bags... It's aroun 200.00 for 6 bags... You may also talk Gary into selling you a bag for 45.00 at Green Earth in Florence..

Use a surface cleaner, then a 5 degree tip to remove gum...

Pre-treat/pre-clean the heavy oil stains and spray the whole surface with your degreaser. Use a surface cleaner and clean the whole area then spot clean and rinse.

Be sure to check your runoff requirements if they have a capture treatment drain on site or if you have to recollect the wash water for treatment.

Thanks to all of you who chimed in. Great advice. I will research the chemicals. If anyone wants to throw out an average price for an average c-store I would love to hear it. (I know, I know there is no such thing as average)... :)

You can get 50lb for $35 in Gluckstadt. And, you can buy 1 bag at a time if you want.
