Bidding my first apartment complex. Need direction.

I usually only wash trucks but one of my customers owns three apartment buildings and asked me for a quote. I would like to try this out and give me another avenue for income whenever the opportunity arises. They are just wanting the brick face on one side of building 1 and siding cleaned on all buildings. No roofs or anything else. All of the buildings have a covered from porch with soffit but they are not worried about cleaning that. I have washed a few houses but on the cheap and before I got into the truck washing scene so I was not very well educated at that time. For that matter I am still not. Lol.

Okay so I run an 8 gpm pump set up at 2000 psi. I was thinking about going the x-jet route since I don't run any cleaners through my pump now and don't really want to start. I would have to buy a new gun and lance for this type of washing. That's just a thought as of now. Not really sure how I am going to proceed right now. These building are vinyl sided with wood paned windows that most have paint peeling off of them. There is a lot of dirt that has settled at the top two runs of siding on most of the buildings.

For chems I am not sure what to do yet. I figure I will call Russ or Bill@PWS to see what to go with since this would basically be my first using the right products etc. Now for how or where to start pricing is also another question. I am not sure where to start at. I have one building that is 32 x 100', second building is 27'x110' with a 20'x26' addition, third building is 28x47 L shape with a 28x50 addition. Quite a few feet of washing to do for me anyway. A cake walk for everyone else I am sure. I have a couple of photos I will see if I can load. Just looking for some direction since this is a new area for me. I am interested to learn this side of it so I can have this to go to when the jobs arise. Truck washing will still be my primary interest but it would be nice to add this as well.

So I am looking for some advice on all of the above. Chems, equipment and pricing. Take it easy on me everyone. I have been combing through some of the older posts as well but sometimes you just need to ask the questions.

Having issues uploading pics again.

Just got another call to bid a house. I think I am going to have to get setup for this. It would be nice to have the extra income and also could give me work through the day when I am not washing trucks. Had a talk with Russ this morning about equipment and chems.
