Brown windows

Has anyone had vinyl windows turn brown when sprayed with SH? Happens to me every 50 houses or so, mainly on low end homes. Comes off easily enough with a brush and gutter zap, but it is annoying.

Has anyone had vinyl windows turn brown when sprayed with SH? Happens to me every 50 houses or so, mainly on low end homes. Comes off easily enough with a brush and gutter zap, but it is annoying.

Yes, we have had 3 or 4 houses do it. I rewet them and used some rust remover (acid based) and sprayed it on with a pump up and rinsed quickly. The first time it happened to me it was a very high-end home. I want to say the were metal not vinyl though, maybe I'm wrong?
