Business cards, where from?

Just curious if you guys had a good place online to get business cards from? If not online, who do you go through that's good quality and not overly expensive? Thanks!

Definitely not a bad thing. I do like to keep it local as well most the time. Small companies or big brand? I'm getting some signs made this week locally, so I'm going to have to check around as well

Your local printer will do them as cheaply as any online supplier can, and a local vendor will appreciate your business more than an online company. The print shop will keep all of your artwork available and they should be happy to do anything for you including help you design flyers, postcards, business cards, invoices, statements etc...

Others will tell you about the online ones. I'm sure they are cheaper, I just like seeing and talking to poeple for some things.

I also like Kinkos, i used a local printer for 20 years. He son is running the business and he surprizingly is doing alot of online the father would not do. I would give you the number but they are not as competitive as others.

I dont use them because they are cheap, they are great at having the things i order ontime and fix al the problems without questions. They also run my orders month after month and I dont even have to call. Just stop by and they are always ready.

Example, I believe he runs my number 10 envelopes by 10,000. He seems to always have the 5000 i pick up when ever i need them. I think he runs more than I order everytime.

do a search for keith at KBK Graphics he does a lot of PWing stuff, reall good quality cards too at a good price

Keith gets my vote. I cant give enough props to that guy. And its also nice being able to change something on there if you are using your designer also. I needed to change the name on the biz card once for the wifey and it was lickety split.

I use local people, we PW for them. I try to use local business for everything I can.

I try and use local most of the time too. The guy who prints my cards referred me for a job last year that paid almost $4,000. It was another client of his. Using local people is another networking opportunity. Get to know them, let them know what you do, and learn what they do. Referrals don't have to come from only customers.

My locals are always 5 times higher than internet for things. Got no problem paying more, but 5 times more is crazy. If I was getting 5 times more customer service, I'd be all over it. My biggest problem with locals is that most are just like some of my competition, hacks.

I'm going to a local place today. If they're a lot more expensive that overnight place doesn't look too bad. Can even design your own on their site. Pretty cool.

I agree Keith @ KBK Graphics is excellent, I use him for everything.

Overnightprints here too. Order on Monday at my door on Wed or Thursday.

Always search google for "discount codes". Always specials.

Have a professional design the card, then upload to one of the listed online printers above.

I initially used a local until they showed their true incompetence, I wrote & drew out exactly what I wanted and it took 3.5 weeks to finally get them after 4 rejected proofs! My web guy turned me on to vista print, they send a bunch of freebies also.

I used Vistaprint.com for some cards and some rack cards. They did a nice job. They also offer "free products" you just pay for shipping.
