Calcium Deposits?

Any ideas of how to remove calcium deposits from concrete. Normally these are caused from the sprinkler systems spraying and then drainging onto the sidewalk or driveway.

Calcium deposits require an acid based cleaner to remove. Make sure it has a surfactant to assist with "lifting" the deposits away.

Usually this can be accomplished using oxalic acid.

Be careful with oxalic acid as it has some very dangerous side effects.

Check with a company called EaCo Chem. http://eacochem.com/
They have a couple of products that work, such as Safe Restore and NMD80.

The only thing that works on our stains is HF acid.

I don't know if I should say this publicly, but I was able to test some of the NEW product from Craig Harrison for a calcium deposits and I must say it's awesome....It was tested on bricks, concrete and pavers. I don't know how it will compare to the other products, since I didn't test them all, but it does exactly what you need. As a matter of fact it was tested in/on a high security government facility and the results were amazing. Can't say any more (for now) guys, but stay tuned...BTW this counts as restoration and charging rates are 3-6 times higher than washing. Historic buildings even more...

Sounds like more great cleaning chemicals coming from Craig, that is nice.
