Changing pump

I have 5 HP Honda pressure washer I use mostly on decks. The washer is a 2300 psi at 2.5 gpm. What I would like to do is change the pump to a 2000 psi at 4 gpm mid range price. What type of pump do I need and who has one ? Thanks AL

Al,

There are several different choices of pumps you could use,
however you do not have a large enough engine to achieve ---
4 gpm @ 2000. With the 5.0 HP engine you will only be able to
get around 4 GPM @ 1000.

When figuring out how much horse power you need to run a pump take the psi x gpm. Take that answer and divide it by 1100. That will be the horse power you will need. If you use diesel divide that answer by 1250 and for electric divide it by 1460.
