Without a title, you have to jump through some hoops and there could still be a problem.

You can always get another copy of the title if it is yours and just lost the title. Makes you wonder.

Title Stuff

Just the other day I was about to pay cash for a car and the title had an old lein on it ,the guy said go here,go there.When it comes down to it go to the regristraion office to avoid any problems.If the title is lost it would be better to meet the person and file for a title than, you getting stuck with something you dont legally own.It could even be stollen..The guy hasn't called me back."Momma didn't raise no fool"!

No doubt....run away if there is no title. I had a big Mac Tool Truck left at te motorcycle shop I use to own...the owner moved away and said we could have it. All kinds of court records, title searches, etc.....finally got it and sold it but a huge pain.
