Check out what I found cleaning a roof today......

I was cleaning a roof in lakeland, FL and when I was spraying I saw something sticking up out of the roof. I looked down and it was a .40 cal round lodged into the shingle. Must have been from one New years when people shoot up into the air.

He was just as shocked as I was.
I showed a couple of the neighbors who were outside. It made a good conversation starter. "Hey look what I found while cleaning your neighbors roof".

That's messed up! I'm going to make my daughter wear a bullet proof helmet on new years eve from now on.lol. Man she's going to hate that. I would have been surprised and pissed off.

You're in Florida. It rains bullets down here. I worked at a car dealership down here and we used to find them on the roofs and in the windshields of our cars all the time. I had 3 in my desk drawer that I found on the ground just walking in to the dealership. Most are 9mm, but I did find one AR15 .222 round stuck right where the windshield meets the cowl. Crazy place.

I have a Ski Nautique ski boat,a few years ago I went to pull it out from under a portable carport I was keeping it under and I noticed a small hole in the canvese top of the carport.There also was a small hole in the boat cover.When I took the cover off the boat there was a small hole in one of the seats.There was a 22cal bullet on the floor of the boat.That bullet went through all of that and bounced off the seat foam onto the floor,it must not of had enough energy to go into the seat foam.
