cleaning houses

My friend and I are going to purchase an Excell PW at Home Depot and try to pick up extra money doing jobs like cleaning pools and houses. I was wondering how you can go about collecting the waste water without having to buy the Little Sucker and similar products. In other words, what is the cheapest way to do this? Also, how do you go about keeping it off the ground around houses if there is a lot of landscaping in the way?
Also, any suggestions about a little business such as this would be welcome. Thanks

Scott Stone wrote a detailed article in the Feb issue of BlastMaster Magazine that should answer your questions.

Good Luck in your new venture.

First thing I'd do is check to see if you even have to worry about water reclamation with the types of cleaning you are considering.

From what you've described here I'm not sure I understand why you are worried about water containment just cleaning some houses and pool areas?

you should use the search feature on this site about house washing. reclaim for homeowner work is not needed but knowing a lot about chems is very important.
i would suggest that you should maybe start out with the cleaners that are sold right next to the wash units your looking at. JOMAX is a OK way to start out and follow the directions.
EXTRA MONEY IS FINE BUT DO YOURSELF AND THE CUSTOMER A FAVOR AND GET INSURANCE.

Water reclaim is mostly limited to types of washing that might allow the wastewater to enter a storm drain, or creek, river, etc..............mostly flatwork (concrete, etc), Kitchens, truck washing, etc. Most residential applications, as was said above, you should not have to worry about it.

Ditto on the liability insurance. Don't think you can get by without it, it could cost you bigtime. If you dont understand why, email me at mike@evclear.com and I'll explain.
