colored shingles

Hey guys, last year was my first year dabbling in the roof cleaning world, did a lot of reading on this site about the proper way to do things but do not remember reading about this topic. Fortunately all the roofs I did were either in the grey or black family and never had an issue, but I was out prospecting this weekend and stopped to speak with a few homeowners that had roofs needing attention but a few had red shingles, one was even a shade of green. My question is this. Have any of you had problem with colored shingle becoming lighter in color or discolored after using 12.5% sh. I believe there is no such thing as a dumb question and I want my company to have a great reputation as it grows. Any comments ??

Nope. Red and Yellow black and white, they are all OK in Bleach's Sight......lol

Never had a shingle that the SH affected it and I've cleaned many red, green, tan, etc shingles.

Never had an issue either. The shingles ALWAYS clean up and return to their natural color.

As a general rule of thumb sodium hypochlorite only effects organic things, that's why it eats up cotton shirts but a synthetic like polyester is usually ok.
