Commercial Concrete

We are cleaning several commercial storefronts on a regular monthly basis, 10,000 sf up to 17,000 sf. This is night work as there is no way with the customer traffic that it could be done during the day. What kind of square foot price or total price would some of you charge? I need to make some adjustments, thanks.

Tell me how much you charged and I'll tell you how much we'd charge

Thanks for the replies. I had an idea we were a little low on these stores and am now going to call a few managers and bump them up some. We have been doing some of these stores for many years and had never actually put the measuring wheel to them, instead just being satisfied with a good hourly rate. After measuring we are definitely on the low side of what we should be charging.

Hey'
I know this is weenie...but it's my first crack to landing a reg maint .contract.Yee Ha!Any hoo...I 've worked the initial washing $ for 7000 sq.NO LAUGHING.This co also wants quote for reg maint(frequency yet to be determined). What % do you kid's decrease your $ price /per/sq for ,let's say a monthly cleaning?Heavy traffic.
Thanks.

Thanks guys'
Account acess is night work, heavy traffic, reocccuring gum.It is a walmart.Mgr wants to begin mthly maint on current walks. They are going to super size this fall, and wants to keep the new store walks nice from git go.That's another story.Right now I want to get this deal closed, does this info clarify at all?
I appreciate it.

Thanks Russ,
I priced the initial cleaning at three different rates.Three different degrees of filth..25cnts,.10,.08.7000 sq.Lots of gum.I am hovering around 1400,1500.00.Am I whacked? I want to run 2 hwater machines. Is that overkill?Just your opinion,I will decide.
Thanks.

well i went to bid on a walmart supercenter an the manager only wanted to pay 100.00 per month and i asked him to sell me a 1000.00 riding lawnmower for 20.00 we laughed and that was 4 months ago and guess what it looks like s#it and it is still dirty so i would feel the guy out seel your service, the guy here couldnt get through his african american skull but thats normal for selma alabama i am shure its a lot different where you are

Don two hot units is what I would go with here are somethings I would look at
1. Water Availability
2. Outdoor crap in the way
3. Gum
4. Reclaim ???
5. What day should it be done ( least busy )
6. What the manager expects.

around here 7k sq ft would go for 5 to 7 cents a sq = 350 to 500 plus an up charge for amount of gum

You can also upsell him on a cart cleaning

Don, I think that is a little high for a 7000 sf Wal Mart. If they will agree to a regular cleaning like once a month you can back off some on the initial and be happy with a regular customer. Wal Mart is one of our best customers and they do like to keep them clean....we have one SuperCenter that is bi-weekly.

Jim ,
Thanks.I thought the same .Probably going to move to 850-900 for initial,225.00 for maint.Your thoughts?
