Congrats Ron Musgraves UAMCC BOD President

Jeff, here is a challenge for you brother.

My problem is, I went off all crazy on the BOD because I was positive they were letting the UAMCC slip through their hands.

Apparently they have come to an understanding with Carlos.

I still don't know the status of the URL that was supposedly given or "donated" to the org a long time ago.

I'd love to be involved in the org.

Here's my challenge.

Get with the BOD and have them produce a signed document from the current owners of the URL stating that the URL has been fully transferred to the members of the UAMCC with no strings or conditions of any kind attached (isn't that the way a donation is supposed to work?)

With that document I'll accept any nomination and will work my butt off for this org.

If the elections happen before the URL is turned over then its to late for you to run or get on the BOD. Why dont you run, get elected and join in on helping get the URL? Doesn't that make more sense?

The URL is important in a way, but minor in the scheme of things. The UAMCC needs many BOD members just to function, it needs active BOD members to help move it forward.

Tony as I said on the phone, you are a good candidate, yes, you just have to keep yourself in check and work WITH others. You may say you have a hard time playing with others, but is not a good Org for contractor By Contractors worth it? Think about it, if the UAMCC fails any more its done and we will all live with it or not care and we will just have the PWNA. But what if you could help the UAMCC really make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would that be cool or what?

Don't let some false getting of the URL stop you from jumping in and helping. The past 3-4 years would have been for nothing. Heck someone has to watch over Ron

I can guess who has the domain name and I feel they would give it up for the benefit of the members. Otherwise, you know there is more to an org than a domain name.

Yes one would think. And yes I agree on ur second point.

Your right, so what if they never get it.

The domain name shouldn't be hard to get and I'm staying on the sidelines as a fan only for the UAMCC this year because my help didn't benefit them.. But I can offer a suggestion.. Talk to a web genius and just change the UAMCC URL to read theuamcc.org or something along those lines and then put the meta tags into the new URL because no one seems to care about that.

Don't know who owns for sure the URL and I no longer care but I'll support the UAMCC as a member only and the new jacks can take care of business at hand.... Like Tony Shelton:)

No big deal I guess. Like John said it could be changed. I also don't see the big deal in handing over to the Org. I talked with a couple of Directors last night about this and I think there will be some headway with this soon. Either way, at this point I just don't think I care.

Me to Guy.. Im not getting any younger and I dont have it in me to think I care enough to help. I'll support them but this org needs no fresh people in there now..not us old fogies who are banging the streets still to make our businesses more profitable

You care, it is property of the Uamcc

I will tell you what I was told ................ THEY DONT WONT IT TO FALL INTO THE WRONG HANDS!

The transfer is easy, they dont want it out of their control in case the wrong people (according to them) get control of the UAMCC

Ha ha...u mean like it is now. That's funny.

I kind of figured this was the issue all along.

But how could it fall into one persons hands or control? It would be the property of the Org. i.e. The Membership...right? While I can understand that concern, legally I don't think that can happen. Or could I be wrong?

Doubt that really matters Guy....it's a personal issue. Plain and simple...IMO
