Bob at www.pressuretek.com has the new 12V Delavan 5.3gpm 60psi pumps on sale until Wednesday.

I just bought 2 of them. :)
Good Move!
Are you gonna parallell them Mike ?

If so, there are two things you can do ?

One is to turn up the pressure a bit on each pump.
I am told they will go up to 100psi, but I would be conservative and run em at 80PSI each pump.

If you do turn em up, try and get the pressure the same on each pump /

Second thing is to go to 3/4 Hose if you want to run them stock at the 60PSI setting.

60 PSI is not a whole lot to "push" the combined flow of TWO Delevan pumps, and the larger 3/4 hose will help preserver that pressure.

My choice would be to simply crank em up to 80 psi, and use the 5/8 hose.

Try em stock first, then only go up on pressure IF you have to.

How did you edit my post Apple? No big deal, just wondering.

Yes, I think I will upgrade to 3/4 inch hose. I have 100 feet of some old 3/4 inch in my garage, that I will do a test on the dual Delavans @ 10.6 gpm and compare it with my 5/8 that I have on my reel on my trailer.

I will post my results, when I get them in.

This is going to rock! I'm going to be the best and fastest roof cleaner in town!

Hey, I did "edit" your post, LOL
HTF I did that I do not know ?
I was posting a response to you, and it wound up in your post, then it said edited by me ?

Freaky computers.

I would do a computer simulation but the flow calculator does not input 5/8 hose.
It goes from 1/2 to 3/4 to 1 inch, etc.
No 5/8.
I bet at 100 feet there will be very little difference between the 5/8 and 3/4 hose.

Now, at 200 feet, and 250 feet, there will be a more noticeable difference.

Do you think I would need a second battery to run three or four pumps?

Those babies draw a lot of juice!

Three Delavans @15.9gpm would really be fast.

Four Delavans @ 21.2gpm sounds like overkill, except maybe for a big church or apartment complex. Heck, that would cost over $500 for four. Better off getting a gas powered pump or something like Apple's.

i was only curious as to how far someone would go
I have had 4 shurflo's before Russ!
Not as good as one would think though.

The more flow you have, the more pressure is required to overcome gravity.
So, while they sprayed like a Mo Fo on the ground with a short hose, up on a roof with 200 feet of hose it was a different story.

Really, 2 Delevans and big hose will be awesome, only exceeded by a gas pump, and they cost a lot.

I hear ya, I was thinking of getting six of them with three extra batteries...Heck why not put hydraulics on my trailer with 22inch rims with spinners and fluorescent glow lights underneath. LOL!
We need to put some boom boom bass in that trailer too, LOL

hey thats a good idea ....if it gets broken into they will steal the boom boom and leave thewashers and pumps
Now yer thinkin
