Different methods... with different chemicals... with different results.

So when you're cleaning concrete, I understand that there any many different ways you can go about it.

What are some of the chemicals you use and for what situations/stains do you use them?

Unless I'm unaware of its existence.. Someone should make a sticky or main thread with a chemical(name) - uses - methods of application - before after photos ... Etc.. Like a resource we can come back and look into.. That would be killer

Id do it if I had the knowledge/experience of more than just Chlorine! Lol.. I mean I'm not complaining, it works wonders.. But I would like to get into some other options.. SH, F9 stuff, etc

I know rust stains, F9 is the way to go.

They also make a product for efflorescence.

But oil stains are another beast. Some people use EBC. I've heard of some people using mild caustics...

Just curious to some replies for stains on concrete surfaces!

OK since no one else will chime in...........

If you can rent a lift to go up 6-7 stories and have enough experience to clean these apartments in your youtube video signature............are you really asking what to use on concrete?

perhaps I'm missing something!

Well Matt, that's a great question. However, I don't see any correlation between was said and what was asked.

There is no information missing here nor is there an underlying reason for my asking. Just picking people's brain for the chemicals they use. Thanks for your input though.

Dryvit walls can be harder to clean than flat concrete surfaces... your mix should be at least the same for concrete.. Granted oil/grease saturated surfaces require soaps, chemicals and hot water.

if you use the search function and search for "concrete cleaning" you will come up with this

http://www.propowerwash.com/board/upload/search.php?searchid=1564319

from there, you will find different situations that required different techniques as you browse form search page 1 though 7 through 15 etc..

It appears to be best to post specific questions along with supporting photos for direct suggestions for you current cleaning situation.

hope it helps...

It's not that I wasn't aware of how to clean concrete. I don't have a problem doing so.

However, I use a degreaser from a vendor who I feel isn't being honest in his practice.

So that's why I wanted to know what do you use in what situations. Is there any vendors you prefer for your chemicals than others?
