DOES ANYONE WANT TO SHARE WHAT THEIR BEST PROMOTION WAS IN 2001. DIRECT MAIL,PHONE SOLITITATION, HAND OUTS,YELLOW PAGES, ETC ETC.ALSO HOW WAS IT COMPARED COST. AS LONG AS IM ASKING,DID IT PRODUCE 1 TIME CUSTOMERS OR CONTRACT CLIENTS ? DAN COSGROVE

I got a contract from the signs on my truck. Someone saw me drive by and called. It is a very good customer.

I wash trucks 2 days a week at a big company out in the desart here and they asked me last summer if I would consider washing employees personal vehicles for $. I really didn't think it would fly but said sure. I asked this girl I know to design me a one page advertisment and it came out really good, and the next thing I knew my advertisment was online at that place and I was overrun with people wanting their vehicles washed. I really never was a detailer but added "detailing available" to that flyer and am so busy now that I've had to add an extra day at that company, and will probably have to add another one soon. Also had to hire 2 more people to help us. I gave that girl $200 for the art work she did for me and buy her lunch every chance I get now lol.
