Don't know what to do with PW

Picked up a belt drive 13hp Honda with a hp4040 pump. I was thinking of just keeping it around for a spare but then I had the thought of putting a general 5.5 gpm pump on it and using it for a house washer. Can I put a 8 gpm pump on it ? I know some guys run that, but with gear drives. I picked it up for cheap so I don't mind spending the money for a new pump.

Yes. If you already have the drive system, getting a pump that operates at the rpm you're ready to use will be less expensive than getting a pump that will require new pulleys too.
