Shot a few birds Saturday with my father-in-law. I showed the picture to my wife and told her that's why she was always home on time when we were dating.lol
 
Are you going to mount any of that big game..LOL That looks like a Remington 870..
 
It is an 870 he just bought from a guy for 125.00. It had been shot 2 times.lol

I had my Remington 1100 that day and a mossberg 500 sawed off just to play with. ha ha

I did actually kill one with the mossberg. luck shot

Great Weapon i have had mine for 32 years now, i have it with a mod barrel, and a slug barrel :eek:

Dove hunting with that Rem. 1100 will make you go through shells quick. I guess it gives you a better chance though. Hunting or Fishing trip? These boys in Alabama have it made for hunting. I wish I could hunt a place like that. Down here you fight mosquitos and heat. All for what you ask? So you can Kill a small dog!!! Deer meat does not taste as good as the meat further north either. I guess it has something to do with what they eat and the heat!!! If you kill a deer in Florida you have really accomplished something. Especially if you are hunting a management area. We don't have um walking down the sidewalk like other states!!!

I rather like my old 12ga pump Model 1200 with win-chokes.. I think I was like 15 years old when my dad and uncle bought this for me...
I also hope to go deer hunting this year.. got to get the 270 out .... Also I love this site for downloading targets and stuff http://www.gunnersden.com/index.htm.free-300-yard-bullseye-target.html

Now all I need is to get rid of the old big bear 350 and get me a new 4 wheeler.. I have been looking at polaris and also looking at Bass Pro Shops.. I just can't decide.. I also like the new Yamaha's ...Oh well I am off to spend some of my hard earned money today , the wife wants a new washer and dryer... ( GO FIGURE ) Good Huntin Ash...
 
Deer hunting is the ONLY thing here I look forward to in winter. That and coyote after deer season is over in Jan. I wait until the first frost before bow hunting in Oct. skeeters are murder. We do grow big deer with half the state covered in soy beans and the other in corn. Field dressed (the way yankees weigh) 100# + does are common as are 200# + bucks. My son killed a 235# dressed two years ago. We weigh on digital butchers scales. Shotgun/Muzz only up until last year. They finally approved rifle with only handgun approved cal. .44 mag etc. Can't find a good lever action for sale in the state right now. I'll stick to adding notches to my old 870 slug gun. 95% of your shots here are under 60yds anyway.

I have bow hunted in Miss. near Jackson.

Now crappies and snook are another story. Our crappies are bait size for Florida/GA. Snook and redfish are my favorite FL pass time. Let's go fishin.
